👨🏽‍🎓 Who am I?

I am a Multicultural & Competitive individual with a strong stimulation for "Learn & Grow" as an Engineer, whom my colleagues can rely on.

🏛 What is my Academic Background?

During my period at Politecnico di Milano, foundational courses were fused into my pre-existing knowledge of Mechanical Engineering from academic internships during and post-Bachelor of Engineering. In the subsequent specialisation period, I have gained proficiency in "Mechatronics & Robotics" courses that are "Optimal Control & Signal Processing", "Smart Material Applications", "Robotic System Design", "Electrical Drives for Industrial Applications", "Industrial Plants", "Automatic Control", & "Hybrid Electric Vehicles".

Complementarily, I have been selected by Politecnico di Milano to pursue an Interdisciplinary Training “Honours Programme: Engineering for Sustainable Development”, during this period I have studied courses that have involved conducting Multidisciplinary projects by integrating Sustainability aspects into the Engineering field. With this motivation, I have carried out a Multidisciplinary thesis on the “Development of Hybrid Manufacturing Cell with Industrial Robotic Manipulators”, in which not only have I developed the Novel experimental setup from scratch but also validated quantitatively the precedence of the setup in terms of Functional performance and Eco-sustainability, moreover, my thesis work has been compiled into Scientific articles, one of which is published in an international congress (IEEE). As a result of these accomplishments, I have received an MSc in Mechanical Engineering with a specialisation in "Mechatronics & Robotics" and an Honours in "Sustainabale Development".

🛠 What are my Strengths?

✔️ My greatest strengths are "Critical Thinking", "Imperturbable" & "Delegation".

✔️ I have a good command of MATLAB, SIMULINK, Finite Element Analysis (Abaqus, ANSYS), CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Solid Edge, Shapr3d), Programming (C/C++, Python 3.0+, R), Developer Tools, EPSON RC+ Simulator, RT Toolbox 3, Fanuc CNC Programming, Homer Pro, Arduino, Latex, and Microsoft Office.

✔️ I am Multilingual, native to Kannada, have a proficient command of English, intermediate level of Hindi and Italian.

💼 What are my Professional Goals?

With the acquired Theoretical and Practical skillsets from Academia and previous work experience in “Mechatronics & Robotics”, “Modelling & Simulation” & “Sustainable Product Development”, passionate to work in the Automation, Automotive, and R&D sectors, where I can contribute & improve my skills and talents for the highest advancement of the Organisation by integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

A Path Planning Method for Robotic Additive Manufacturing (IEEE)

International Congress on Human-Computer Interaction, Optimization and Robotic Applications (HORA)

In the last decades, the field of Additive Manufacturing (AM) has seen an increase of industrial robots, used in substitution to the conventional 3-axis CNC Cartesian robots, to overcome drawbacks such as staircase effect (quality of the finished hull), the need for support structure in case of overhanging features (creation of scraps) and the possibility to generate only small and medium size components. This article addresses the steps required to transfer a G-code intended for a CNC machine to an industrial robot, limiting the effects on the final build. The focus is put on those machines that do not allow the programmer to define the trajectory at each cycle time, leading to a non negligible differences between the intended and the yielded part. To achieve the suitable acceleration-deceleration profile, the G-code undergoes a post-processing routine redefining the toolpath by using the primitives already implemented in the controller (i.e. lines and circles) instead of just linear movements. Experiments have been carried out on an Epson T3 SCARA, mounting an FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) extruder directly instructed by the robot according to the actual Tool Center Point (TCP) speed.
